The 17th annual National Judges Cup Gymnastics Championships will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday, January 5 through Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Indiana Convention Center. This year's event hopes to exceed participant numbers from past years with number of states represented for both participants and judges. Race your way to Indianapolis to the National Judges Cup and the crowning of the next National Judges Cup Champions.

2007 NAWGJ National Judges Cup

Indianapolis, Indiana

We judged from Friday through Sunday at the Indianapolis Convention Center with judges from all over the United States. The Level 7 Championship was sensational and after seven years of domination, Northern California took second placed to Texas while a strong Louisiana contingent captured third place. The routines were outstanding!!!

The NAWGJ library accumulated gymnastics footage from level 3 and 4 through 10 for DVD educational projects to come! There was not too much time to play since we covered nine sessions of athletes in three different gyms and were assigned all weekend.

The Michigan judges were Judy Dobransky, Julie Berger Anderson, Marene Van Farowe, Joan Boyer, Heidi Curtis, Kim Dyer and David Yellen.
