RE:  National Judges Cup 2008- January 4,5 & 6

Here is the current information on the 2008 National Judges Cup in sunny San Diego, CA.  Following is some general information to assist you with your plans.

Visit our website about the meet.  The entry forms and most of this information can be found there as well.  www.judgescup.com

Venue:  Our competition venue is the San Diego Concourse
                                                             202 C Street MS57C
                                                             San Diego, CA 92101

Hotel:  Marriott San Diego Mission Valley is approximately 6.1 miles from the venue.
            Holiday Inn on the Bay is approximately 1.2 miles from the venue.
            Reservations must be made through National Travel Systems at 1.888.603.8747                  
            or by using the form on our website: www.judgescup.com.

Airport:  San Diego International Airport (8.5 miles from the Marriott or 2.5 miles from the Holiday Inn)
You should try to arrive Thursday, January 3 (evening is fine) and depart Monday, January 7 if at all possible. 

Airport Transportation:  To Marriott San Diego Mission Valley
                                            Express Airport Shuttle (from baggage claim area) $11.50 ea.
                                           Taxi cost is about $21.00 but can be shared.
 

                                           To Holiday Inn on the Bay
                                           Hotel has free shuttle.  Call from the baggage claim area.

Transportation to venue:  Neither hotel is walking distance to the venue so rental cars may be necessary.  If I am able to arrange any venue transportation, I will let you know. 

Volunteer information:  Please fill out the form included and return to me asap.  Please reply no later than December 1st.

Please bring something from your state to donate for a raffle among the judges.
