Quick note on upcoming NCAA season

More information will be out in September—watch the www.nawgj.org site.

1) We not yet received the official NCAA rules for 2009. These were being finalized and voted on in August. We will post these as soon as we get them.

2) For judges who are assigned to NCAA Regional or National meets—do NOT contact assigners or NAWGJ personnel. This information is confidential. NCAA will inform me through proper channels of the judges who are assigned to these competitions. This will be monitored to assure that NCAA Regional and National meet judges are given the opportunity to judge at least four meets during the season.

3) Timelines—Coaches will start entering their meets onto the JAS system after Labor Day. Judges will enter their availability Sept 15 to Sept 30th. The assigners will assign meets starting Oct 1st, and complete this by Nov 15th.

Thank you for your patience. Between the Olympics, vacations, changeover in personnel, and flooding in Iowa, we have had a few challenges. We are on track and looking forward to this season of NCAA judging.
