Many thanks to Nola Ayres, SJD from Washington for sharing the results of her SJD survey with us. This will be of interest for those of you advocating for a 4-judge panel at your state meets. As many of you have indicated, we need more opportunities for judges to judge at higher levels; many judges with Level 10 or National ratings don't get a chance to judge their state or regional meets. One way to increase opportunities is to increase the size of panels used at your state or regional meets.

And, just to put a plug in here, another opportunity for judges is to attend our National Judges Cup and judge on a 4-judge panel at a national level meet. This has been a wonderful experience for many judges who have participated in this event in the past.
